Oxford Region Obstetrics

Obstetric Anaesthetists within the Oxford Region meet twice a year, and the meeting rotates around all hospitals in the region on a regular basis.

The programme includes a range of subjects relevant to Obstetric Anaesthesia, and presentations include audit or research projects, clinical updates and case reports. Invited speakers have included Consultant Obstetricians as well as experts in other relevant fields such as haematology, risk management and legal services.   

At previous meetings trainees have had the opportunity to give short presentations to the group and a prize has been awarded for the best presentation.
