Oxford Regional Intensive Care Society ORICS

The Oxford Regional Intensive Care Society meets twice a year. The Autumn meeting is held in Oxford and the Spring meeting rotates around the regional hospitals.

The regional registrar teaching runs morning and early afternoon. This gathers all the trainees in the region in one place. As well as the more obvious social benefits this also attracts expert speakers. The meeting itself follows and runs into the early evening. The programme includes a range of subjects from detailed research reports to clinical updates from specialist speakers.

Wednesday 21st October 2009 at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The morning trainee teaching is being organised by John Davidson, and the afternoon meeting by Chris Kearns. Further details will be posted nearer the time, but any queries can be directed to Trish Greenall.
