Oxford Regional Intensive Care Society ORICS

The Oxford Regional Intensive Care Society meets twice a year. The Autumn meeting is held in Oxford and the Spring meeting rotates around the regional hospitals.

The regional registrar teaching runs morning and early afternoon. This gathers all the trainees in the region in one place. As well as the more obvious social benefits this also attracts expert speakers. The meeting itself follows and runs into the early evening. The programme includes a range of subjects from detailed research reports to clinical updates from specialist speakers.

The Kadoorie Intensive Care Expanded Case Summary competition is held at the Autumn ORICS meeting.

The next meeting is at the Royal Berks on Tuesday 20th April 2010
